The X 8 is more spl woofer. It will still play music just fine. The X 12 is a low distortion woofer. I would get the X 12 Forsure

Need more info. For everyday ground pounder I'd get the single x sub if your not limited on space.

$$(budget), power, vehicle, etc.

you guys say the X8s are spl woofers but a single 12 has a good bit more cone area than two 8s so pretty sure the single X12 would be louder and lower than the two 8s easily.

So after calling Sundown I am torn between 2 X8's or 1 12" Zv3. This is due to trunk space. For what I am looking for I was told these are my best options. Need some opinions/advice. Looking for a daily set up, that gets low but hits higher notes as well (I listen to mostly heavy bass rap/hip hop). I feel like I can't go wrong with either setup but I am hoping someone with personal experience with either of these can help.
