During the 150.0 dB run the 1500D clamped 2640 watts. I am running the amp at 17.9 volts and 1/2 ohm nominal.

My meter measures about 5-6 seconds into the burp and is a True Power meter.

It says "2.55 kw" in the above picture in case you can't tell due to the blurry-ness. This was a 149.9dB run.

So... two Z15s with just a hair over rated power hitting 150.0 dB @ 50 Hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Not bad at all.

My favorite part about doing car audio is testing out stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
WOW over 2600 watts from an 1500 watt amp!

Derrick824, why did the amp go into protect?
I only keep one amp in my truck daily & had just dropped the second amp in that afternoon. I assumed it's settings were still set correctly from when I had both in there at SBN but they weren't.

hey derrick i frogot to ask but, was those nightshades dual 1s or 2's?
Those are dual 1s so each amp is running at 0.5ohm. I should have had you touch them to feel how cool they run even after some hard pounding. Let me know if you're gonna make it to the big car & bike show/competition soundoff here on April 18th and I'll make sure Jay's Magnum is there with the NightShade 18"s. Gary's Altima with the new Sundown z15"s will be there too. Both are vehicles you'd love to hear.

Mine ? It is multiple layers and the screws are there to keep the layers together. Also, the screws around the edges go through both baffles and hold in my corner pieces.
That's alotta screwing! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Its hard to tell exactly whats going on there with all of them, some even seem to be almost poking thru from the back side... but Im gonna guess here and say you didn't quite so many. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

There are some little holes in the front where I screw down adapter plates to test 12s in this box too - those holes only enter the first layer.
