Sundown 3KD @ .5 Ohms

hey there everyone

I've been looking at getting an SAZ-3000D

i have 2 05 XXX 12's D2's

how does this amp fair up at 1/2 ohm load?

what kind of power does it put out at this ohm load?

i have an electrical system to back it, so that isn't an issue.

It will run daily at .5 with no prob with the correct electrical.

I got 5kw out of mine at .5 on a 15.8v system dropping into the 12's.

i got 2 hc2400's in the back and a yellow top under the hood, should i add an extra battery, like an hc2000, or should i be ok with what i have?

ive also got an EA 250 amp alt on the way too, should be here this week.

It'll take 0.5 ohm fine.

I had my amps playing @ 0.25 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I don't recommend doing that for daily.

It'll do 4k+watts @ 0.5ohm and 12v all day long.

well the ratings of the amp are 3k at 1 ohm at 14.4 underrated, so figure impedance rise to 1.6 or 1.7 minimal if your lucky i think tests proved like 3,280 or something like that. although i may be spouting out random numbers. but the tests are at soundsolutionsaudio.com under the sundown section if youd like to check it out.

they also have .5 ratings as well
