sundown 1500 questons

all right i got two type Rs dual 4 so i want to get an amp to give them 1500 at 1 ohm. i can get this for around 350 from the classifieds. so you guys think i can run this amp to its potential with stock electrical with 1/0 wire and big three in 1/0? also im choose this over a hifonics 2008D. i figure the sundown is not over rated and the hifonics may be so i might as well get the sundown. what you guys think about that i can get them for around the same price. thanks.**** i spelled ? wrong.

SD's seem to be pretty efficient amps. Worse case you might need a better batt up front, but try the other stuff first and see how it does.

1500D can do around 1700+ @ 1ohm on decent electrical.

big 3 and a strong battery will be good to 1500d. or stock battery big 3 and a second good bat in the back will be better.

i am not one of the many experts on here but i will be glad to give you my input

the sundown 1500 will give you 1500watts at 1 ohm just like you want. DB-r.com has some refurbished 1500ds for 375.00 and it comes with a one year warrenty from them.

I cant say the amp will works with a stock alternator, just depends on what size it alternator your have in you car. I can tell you that a 0 gauge big 3 and o power wire will be a big help.

I've run 2 strapped off an SVR batt up front and BIG3 with no dimming....Solid amps IMO.
