Ok, so I know you guys get tired of n00bs like me coming in here and asking what stuff to get, but hopefully you can spare one more.
Anyways, my tax returns are coming in and I feel like being a good citizen and helping the economy by...you got it: Blowing it on car car audio products. So I figured I'd give you guys a little info so you can tell a little bit better on what I'm looking for. I drive a '02 Tahoe. I'm not looking for anything godly. I'm looking for a setup that has more of an aspect on SQ...with the good sounding (not distorted) bass. I listen to rap maybe once every 5 years; When something more intelligent that "Crank Dat" comes out. I'm a metal head and that's just about all I listen to (and no not Korn or Slipknot). I'm not sure if my preference on music genre would have any effect but I felt like throwing that in just in case it did.
Again, I'm not looking for anything that could be a comp type setup. Maybe one or two 12's just depending on what the majority of you guys suggest. So without further rambling, the greatest n00b question: What subs and amp should I go with?
Thanks,
Zach
