I currently have an ed12a in a ported box (tuning freq and cu/ft escapes me, I built it over a year ago), running off a jl 500/1. Too much sub for the amp, imho. It sounds good, but it takes up a LOT of space. So I'm looking to reconfigure, and get some thing that will be similar output in a smaller box, since I use my cargo area very often (once a week for my hockey bag at least), and it becomes cramped for the box + cargo. Budget isnt limitless, but lets keep this realistic. ~250-300 or under. I've been out of the "loop" if you will with new companies or equipment, so I'll just let yall reccomend some brands. Perhaps 2 8's?
