Suggestions On Summer Jobs That Make Good $

you could definitely make more thats like at least 100....depending on the kind of boat you get on youll bait hooks for people, retie hooks on lines, land the fish for people, clean the fish, clean the boat, clean all the rods and gear. pretty much you do the shit people pay to not do. i was on a boat that geared towards tourists and only took like 6 people out at a time in the river, i got 5 an hour plus tips so if people tip well you get more money. i got some like 40 or 50 dollar tips for 4 hour trips. usually 20 for 2 hour trips. i usually made like 15 or so dollars an hour for "working", cuz like i said i do that stuff for fun.
i'm not the fastest knot tire tho. i know various knots, but since i get really busy during the school year, i havent been snook fishing since the summer. Will the boat charter sit down with me and let me practice so i can tie knots a lot faster?

Pools! Especially in Florida!
Think about it, changing an inground pool liner can get you $1000-$2500 and it only takes about 1-2hrs. You could maybe do 2-3 of those a day, and they're are tons of them out there!
i have a pool, and still down know what an inground pool liner is. Do i have to be skilled to change these? and are they looking for people with a resume that have experience in pools? or is it something that someone can take me out to a site and teach me how to do? if it is, that would be awesome. explain a lil with some more information please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think his point was the time frame.
ya, but there are certain heavy labor jobs that people cant do for long periods of time without getting broken down, so theres gotta be somewhere that pays good and regularly hires new people up for the task. at least i'm hoping

your probably fine its not like you have to do it super fast.......and it depends on which charters you get on.......like i said the one i was on would just take out a few tourists that didnt know shit....ive been fishing my whole life and it was a joke but they loved it and i made good money. we did catch some nice snook and redfish though for not being a serious charter, we probably did better than all those pros that go out on the flats at like 5 in the mourning to catch one redfish.

Sounds like your's is concrete/marcite/gunite.

They should teach you on the jobsite. Goto a pool store and see if they need help. Try Pinch A Penny, that's where I work. Though we don't service pools, but it will get you acquainted to them. Also after seeing what these guys who do service pools I wish I did it. They get paid!$$$$$$$$$$

so what exactly do u do at pinch a penny? we got one like 10-15 mins from our house, and they used to service our pool as well before we fired them.

and where do u change inground pool liners? what is that exactly?

Forklift driver. They start off anywhere from 10-16/hr
that sounds alright. is that the highest they pay for starting out? or is there something else that is available on the site that would pay more by any chance?
