hmmm .55cf... pretty small 8 is the way to go unless you do exactly the same thing as the guy in your link... the RLP are kickazz for a shallow tho... extremely efficient as well.

cool, ya im prob gonna end up with the mb's since nothing else seems to fit there anyway

Check out mtx tt65 I have a 10 and they get decently loud and have a very shallow mounting depth.

1.75" vc vs the MB 3" and they require 1C^3 sealed vs the rlp254 needs .45 sealed...

not even close to the same league not bad at all but they are more on par with a pioneer shallow at best..

bump... havent got any subs yet, decided to get a new deck first. anyway im stuck between 2 sundown e8s, 2 kicker l7 8's, or the mb quart shallow 12s... only .55 cft of room in box mounting depth is 5 inches max, and it will have to be sealed due to space (lack of) ... anyone own any of these subs?
