I'm thinking about doing the HSK 165's..or the Morel Tempo 6's or the CDT's.......

Iwant to be able to crank it as loud as I want, when I want and have crisp clear music, with 0 distortion. I'm figuring, 2 Component sets and a pair fo 6x9's should get it done nicely.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well my cdts dont distort at all even was at one time on accident somehow my gains got bumped up to 250rms per side using a 1k test tone and amp is only rated for 175rms per side even though its a kicker so prob can do 200 clean so we sending them 50-75rms clipped signal and around 100rms over rating and never had a problem with them and they still sound perfect i was scared i hurt them but nope nothing wrong, even when clipped they still had no distortion

I am really glad I swapped from the HSK to the Morel Tempo 6... I have heard the CDTs personally @ a local meet and the guy now wants Tempo 6s lol.... Keep the Tempo 6s on your list... They will make you happy for the little price increase.

Look for a bunch of Tempo 6 reviews soon... A lot of my buddies also just swapped for Tempo 6s...

Hey all, hows it going tonight?
Well next year, I'm getting out of the SPL scene and going to more SQ orient the car. I'm going to run 2 component sets, preferrably the same sets and I want to run them off of a SAX 100.4. And run a SAX 100.2 and have that power a pair of 6x9's.

My question is....whats a good component set, around say $250.00 or less? Not looking for the higest quality, but I don't want something cheap either...something in the middle...preferrably a silk dome tweeter..

Any suggestions? And how much more sound do you actually get if you deaden the doors and such? Depending on how much more sound you get, I may deaden the doors, as my trunk is the only thing deadened..

ive been here and a few other places. I have a couple of hsk165's in my tahoe if u wanna listen to them. in the kicks sealed up and in the doors sealed up. all in their own lil box. sounds pretty nice but ive heard better for cheaper
