Suggestions on Components?

Hey all, hows it going tonight?

Well next year, I'm getting out of the SPL scene and going to more SQ orient the car. I'm going to run 2 component sets, preferrably the same sets and I want to run them off of a SAX 100.4. And run a SAX 100.2 and have that power a pair of 6x9's.

My question is....whats a good component set, around say $250.00 or less? Not looking for the higest quality, but I don't want something cheap either...something in the middle...preferrably a silk dome tweeter..

Any suggestions? And how much more sound do you actually get if you deaden the doors and such? Depending on how much more sound you get, I may deaden the doors, as my trunk is the only thing deadened..

CDT's look OK in my honest opinion....I know a guy that runs the Neo Comp's of CDT and they sound ok...but could be better..

Any others I should look for.. ?

Yea, this is the set my friend Brian Lowezy has in his van. They sound ok, but I want something a little better.

I like them though..

i have the cl-62cf series very good set for only around 200 bucks or so rated for 160 rms giving them 175rms per side taking it with no problem xover at 80hz and they get loud and keep up with 1500rms on 2 12's ported right behind me in the back seat, and at any vol very detailed and crisp speakers and no distortion at all

and also dont buy from woofersect go through exige on here gives u better tweets and xovers and better prices

and for kicks ebay has q logic kicks for most vehicles but you can get a custom set made for around 200 or less

I'm thinking about doing the HSK 165's..or the Morel Tempo 6's or the CDT's.......
