Suggestions for new setup

I recently had a setup that I was pleased with, but I wanted something different so I sold everything that I recently had. I have a budget of about $1,000-$2,500 dollars. I am looking for a new cd player, equalizer, amp, box, tweeters, and subs. So if anyone would be nice enough to suggest some new high quality stuff for me to buy I would appreciate it. Also, for the subs, I want something that is both SPL and SQ, but with the spl being a little better than the SQ of the sub. Bass just sounds too good to give up.
