suggestions for amps that go around 1000rms at 4ohms

I personally would go with the HK4000D, but when you do upgrade in the future make sure you have the electrical for it

EDIT: MA is a refurb, and idk how you feel about refurbs

refurbs are fine to me if they came from the factory like that.

now if i go with the ma audio what would be the best way to calculate how much rms im puttin out so i dont blow my sub

 
when you set your gain (dmm) just set it for the correct voltage.

V=sqrt(PxR)

V=Sqrt(1000x4)

sqrt(4000)=63

use a 50hz 0db test tone.

you can find all the info in the gain setting tutorial.
