I have my SX in a 3.5 @ 35 braced slot ported box, and I couldnt be happier.

and thats running off an ultra linear "1200" watt amp(prolly running 700ish rms). idk how its not impressing you on a nine.1

its all in the install bro. I'd check everything back over, and make sure youre not screwing something up.

My SX 15" is in 4cuft @ 32hz. It sounds great, low bass sounds really low. SQ is just as good as a jl w3 but way louder.

wont my amp go into protect if i turn it up if its out of phase?

turn you system off. go to the amp flip the switch to 180degrees and see if it makes a difference.

i think i found the problem, i noticed that the sub was ******* in instead of blowing out, but i tried to reverse the phase and i even tried to just switch the positive and negitive and no matter what it still sucks in. what the hells goin on???

switching the phase and reversing the + and the - are the same thing.

as for your sub ******* in ..... it probly just looks that way but it isnt really.
