suggestions for a new amp?

i got these two 12' CVX kickers... and im pushing them with a 1220 2 channel LOGIC amp...

i was told of i got a bigger amp they would sound way louder..

can anybody give me links and pictures, name of amps and watts etc so i can search for them online and try to get for my system??

i need a new amp.. they said my logic is not very good...

i want to go the cheapest route but the best amp that would push them and be good for a while...

well those subs are 750 rms so ur already under powering them with a amp thats not very good. what are ur subs 2 ohms or 4?

is ur enclosure ported? looks sealed to me

also.. the box my friend built he cut a hold in the side on the left side.. and air flows out a little bit.. its not a hugeee hole.. but he did it on purpose.. to make it ported..

the subs are dual 4 OHM

on the back of each sub, it has two black things and two red ones.. hah

well u cant just cut a random hole in the box to make it ported...

an ok so ur gonna need a good 1500 watt amp thats 1 ohms stable

maann... Your friend kinda screwed you... I'd rather have kept the **** thing sealed up and proper. Honestly. If you get a prefab ported box, you may like the subs more on the amp you have and that'd cost you all of 30-40 bucks local. Try that first.. I wouldn't suggest you building a box since you seem pretty green and buying one is expensive.

would it make any since to buy another amp and run new cords and everything and hook up a cvr 12 with my cvx? but get new amp.. power cords, etc ?

If you get a ported box, and run a good amp that puts 1000+wrms you will be set.

I think your first priority should be fixing your box man...not the amp. Who knows what your tuned to now, you could have some crazy cutoff, tuning freq.

IMO you should get your box fixed first, then worry about the amp!!!
