Suggestions for 2001 CRV?

Hello

Newbie, here. Going to replace factory radio, etc from my 2001 CRV and wanted to put in something that will really pop. Any kind of music, but mostly classical and jazz is what I listen to. Need nice, crisp percussion and a melody that doesn't get lost or too muddy.

Open to suggestions on head units, amp or pre-amp, speakers. Extra bass thru sub-woofer would be nice but not looking to create earthquakes. Will be playing CDs as well as MP3 through phone, etc. Bluetooth is ok, probably standard these days but not necessary.

Trying to keep everything under a grand if possible. I appreciate any input before I start shopping--especially from anyone with a car similar to mine.

Thanks--G in Maryland

Go to crutchfield.com, put in year, make, and model into their data base, and you can find out what will/won't fit. Even if you don't buy from them, you will know what you need.
