suggestions/advice for my car/setup?

hey guys. ive got a accord coupe 2008 with so called "premium audio". im not very knowledgeable about car audio and all the jargon but i do know enough in simple terms. so far the only thing ive done is to disable the factory subwoofer and placed two 10" kenwood 250watt rms each with a matching 2ch kenwood amp that does 500rms at 2ohm. im using a sealed enclosure. but my current config is to run it at 340rms at 4ohm because the shop guy said it will produce richer and clear sound.

so here are my questions:

should i re-enable my factory sub to run along with my two new subs? reason im asking this is because i really lost all the mid/high bass after disabling it and im just getting deep low one from my sub.

should i setup the sub system to run at 500watts rms at 2ohm vs the current 340watts rms at 4ohm?

other problems i find is that since everything else is factory, when i make my volume level go up to 75%+ (30/40), the door speakers realy start to produce distorted bass. it even messes up the vocals a bit. tweaters are always good and rich. what does this mean? are the speakers bad or are they just not getting enough power from the headunit? should i replace the speakers or just get a multichannel amp to run my speakers?

my rear deck speakers horrible. seems like the only thing they are good at is bass but everything else is very blurry and not clear. they dont produce high pitches. its all bass and no treble basically.

any advice would be appreciated for improving the car's audio. i dont plan to change the headunit because i like the fact that i can use steering wheel controls and it drives my cdchanger so i dont know if that will be a problem. but im open for changing speakers and adding an amp.

thanks a lott!

you can get an aftermarket radio and a PAC module that will let you keep your steering wheel controls function.

i definitely recommend changing out the door speakers and amping them.

keep the subs at 500watts at 2ohm.

thanks. i was thinking the same. well i didnt know i can keep my steering controls even after changing the unit. thats great news. will everything fit within a $400-$500 budget? just wondering.
