Suggestion on small powered subwoofer for wife

Wife likes standard bass, nothing overpowering but wants something small, needs her trunk because of the kid. She will only get one of those amp and sub combos. The local car audio place talked her into the JL stealth box but it's a little pricey. I don't have much experience here. She will not do a separate mounted amp. Ideally, she would want a sub under a seat but I don't think it would give the base she wants.

I was looking into the Infiniti Baselink 10in? Any suggestions? Trying to talk her away from a basetube which she thinks are "cute."

Don't doooooo it!!! those things sound brutal man....and you'll still have to put it in the trunk so there's going to be a little bit of trunk space lost. They're like $150-$170 on amazon and you'll need an amp wiring kit (assume $20) so if you consider that your budget you have other options.

My brother ordered this a few days ago. Rockville is a decent brand and not overly expensive. If your looking to save space then this is small enough to put anywhere.

sent you a pm. all the powered all in ones just have an amp built in, no differerent than mounting a mini amp on the back of a small box, youll still need an amp kit and in most cases an loc for factory radio integration

Funny I remember them seeming really good back when I was in high school but I wonder how they would really compare if I sat in one of those cars today?

OP, I'd suggest looking at JBL/Infinity brand as they make good speakers and amps, are fairly priced, and generally perform as advertised.

As others have said, you will need at least to run power, ground, and signal to the amp.
