Suggestion on 2 12'' subs and amp??

I already have a box for 2 12'' subs. I need to buy 2 new 12''s and a new amp. Im looking for good quality subs that will hit good and be able to take a fairly good amount of power. As for the amp, Im thinking I need at least 1000W? Im looking to spend around $300 or less. Does anyone have any suggestions what to get?

more moeney is needed. get 2 kicker l5's there 170 a peice, and save up for amp or somethin, 300 aint much to work with

some sony xplods and an xplod amp and you will barely spend more than 300 lol

Uh... You can get a decent system for $300. Check the classifieds, find a decent pair of twelves, or a single fifteen, or something. Find an amp to power them there at a good price, chip in an extra $30-40 for wiring, and build the box yourself.

Definitely not a sound quality, or a big booming system that'll break records, but it'll definitely be a decent system. Single alpine type R twelve, D2, for a $100, hifonics amp of some kind for $150, low gains, and $50 for materials. Just an example there.

I probably should have said in the first post that I do not need to buy wiring or a box, thats already in the car. All I need is the individual subs and an amp

plutoman is right, find yourself a good 15 or so and build a new box..dont base your entire system on a box thats the least of your concerns right now they're cheap and easy to build. big sheet of 3/4 mdf at lowes is 25 bucks here, most people have a table saw of some sort to do it themselves. i got a great deal on a nice 15 and 1000watt memphis amp on here..
