Well, if you want an answer to that question, just go to your local audio shop and ask them what KIND of customers drop the big bucks and not look back. The drug trade has made car stereo shops here in Montgomery a very affluent business to be in. Not saying that everyone on this forum deals drugs but around here that is the way things go.

Now for the subs. These are in sequential order beginning with the first things I ever owned.

(2) 12" Orion XTR SVC

(4) 12" Kicker Impulse

(4) 18" Rockford paper cone pieces of junk

(2) 12" JL W0 (one of the best systems I ever had)

(3) 15" Image Dynamics IDQ's

(3) 12" Autotek Street Machine

(12) 12" Autotek Street Machine (sold em before I did the wall because I got them for such a cheap price and made so much profit on them)

(4) 10" Hifonics Warrior's

(2) 10" Power Acoustik FUBR's

(1) 15" Crystal CMPx2 (By far the best subwoofer I have ever owned, hopefully I can get one or two more). If I had a digital camera I would take pictures of this one because it is truly an amazing work of art.

However, that 8" CMP that ngsm13 mentioned is not expensive at all....I believe MSRP is only around $120 or so IIRC. Helluva little performer for that price. I'd really like to get one to mess around with......

Ummm I'm definitely not rich, nor have I been if you take notice to some of my past equipment.

-Some old wal mart sub, it was black with red writing I think off a rampage amp.

-pair of profile subs, off a white profile amp.

-single pioneer 10" diamond plate sub off a profile 600sx or something.

-2 Audiobahn 6x9 3 ways off the profile 600sx lol.

-2 MTX 6000 series, same amp.

-Rockford Fosgate 15" HX2 punch older model, ran by a ma audio SY5011DX 1500w amp.

-Cerwin Vega Vega 10" off the same amp ^. (very nice If I remember right!)

-2 MA Audio XE 12" subs off the same amp ^.

-Added to more, so 4 MA Audio XE 12" subs off 2 HK-1997 mono amps.

-1 MA Audio XE 15" off SY5011DX

-1 Audiobahn Immortal 2k3 model off SY5011DX

-2 MA Audio HKX2 12" off HK602sx, then added another 602sx.

-Same subs with a HK4000D
