Subwoofers intermittently going out

Hi, I have a 2013 Alpine mono subwoofer amplifier and two 10" Kenwood subs installed in a 2006 Acura TL. My subs have been intermittently going out and I'm not sure why. They always seem to go out during this one song that has a lot of bass. After a while they come back on for a short time. All the connections to the sub look fine and the amplifier under my seat looks fine. This has happened before when I originally had two Alpine subs installed and I took my car in to my local audio shop. They told me one of the speakers was blown and causing electrical issues so I purchased the Kenwood subs. It has only been a week and the problem is back. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd rather not take my car back in and have to wait or spend more money, I hope there is an easy fix.

if you were closer i could help you...you need a DMM to test your speaker ohms and ground resistance....walmart has nice one for less than $20...so does radio shack if any stock left on the shelves

a bad ground can cause these issues as well...most cars built these days are unibodies...so no frame ...meaning you cant always get a solid ground in the trunk and may have to run a seperate but equal size of your recomended amp power wire to your battery...i have a positive and negative 4 gauge wires run to the battery of most of my cars

Ill bet its that ELD issue that most Hondas have..since its basicly a Honda motor..Keep_Hope_Alive has a thread about it, and It worked in my CRV..You might get by with two large AGM batteries and the big three to maintain voltage drop issues if your lucky..If you continue without fixing this issue, you will end up frying an amp or subs or both..You will always have that fading issue/inand out issues due to that ELD that Honda engines have
