Subwoofers bailey move. Please help

I just bought a system off a friend that worked perfectly fine in his car. I bought this because my old system wasent hitting.... I'm guessing it was the same problem. We moved his speakers and amp directly to my car, all my wires are connected, amp gets power, played with the Hu settings with 2 different Hu, RCA's are in the sw output, fuses are good. Can't figure out what's wrong. The only thing i can think of is the remote wires connected to the preamp for my car speakers but I need to do this for them to work. It seems like everything works just getting very little power to subs. They move but just a little. Any suggestions?

Subs: Polk Audio DB-1222

Hu: Pioneer DEH-X6500BT

Amp: la sound hermosa 150s

You can not just plug it in and it works. Different headunits require different settings.

I know but the subs should at least move more then they are. U have to put ur hand to the sub to really feel it.

Plus I played with ALL the audio settings and nothing really changes

Im going to say pre amp volts is your problem most likely. Or you have a horrible charging system.

How would I fix the volts problem and I honestly don't know anything about the charging system

Maybe you have the subs wired backwards? Positive on negative terminal and vise versa.

Yes this could be. I've also had a issue where some of the terminals were very loose on a sub and threw off the reading a bit. check that also

if you cannot visually see the subs moving and you have to put your hand on the cone to fell it they might not even be working at all. The rest of the speakers in the vehicle will cause slight vibrations in the sub to make it seem like they may be trying to work but they are not. I would connect an ipod directly to the amp and see what you get. Also what kind of car and power wire, any sort of electrical upgrades? I would be looking towards the pwoer side of things as being the problem if you tried mulitiple systems and decks.
