subwoofer suggestions

i hooked my buddies new amp up. he said it was tuned down. and this sub was used anyway and the guy ran 900 watts to it. it was about to blow anyways.

It was about to blow anyways??? There are limits to it and as long as those limits aren't reached, you're fine. Play it properly, no issues, unless it's a manufacturer defect. You must have abused it if it was "about to blow"

the warranty was void anyways. when i bought it, the warranty couldnt turn over to me. so i couldnt get a new one. and the guy ran it hard too. it was a 200 dollar w7. i bought a new car, so and the guy said he would leave the system in if i paid for it. and 200 for the sub and i bought an amp.

i blew my 10w7. i am either thinking of getting 2 JL 12 w6 or getting another 10 w7. maybe considering another brand. i like JL for there sound quality. i dont always listen to rap. i listen to county and some other stuff too.
