Subwoofer storage

Whats the best way to store a subwoofer? I have 15" Cerwin-Vega with no original packaging (I bought it used off this guy at my work complete with the sub box for $100). Right now it's up my room with a towel over it keep dust off. I have my air conditioner running and I also smoke ciggerates (and a little of the good stuff too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gif ) in my room. Is this a bad enviroment for the speaker? Oh I almost forgot, the sub is not inside the woofer box, I have the sub itself on my floor. Well, first off...at least give the thing a bath, use LEVER 2000 for all it's 2000 parts including the VC, spider, basket, surround, and especially the dust cap. Then I would read it a bed time story each night...and as far as storage...nothing less than a plush pillow encapsulated inside glass cube ventihlated with purified air. Or, you could let it accompany you in your own bed, with plush sheets of course. peace

you should bathe it in the toilet every day with pee.

the acid in the pee will kill all the germs.

Don't smoke the blunt in front of it though, the poor guy will resent the fact that he's out of the rotation.

haha yah go ahead and make fun. I'm new to car audio and didn't want to ruin my speakers before I got a chance to use them. Thanks for the help anyways

Store subs in a place indirect of any sunlight that is cool temped and moisture free.

P.S. Like DB fan said make sure you use the Ky on the pole vent or else you may run into issues . Also all you MT owner's I pitty you no pole vent **** the luck.
