Subwoofer increase in volume on it own-gets loud

Looking for help

JL Audio G1300 mono amp connect to 10W3V3 2ohm and the subwoofer starts to play super loud on its own. It does not happen all the time.

Any information would help

maybe something going on with the amp or wiring .check the wiring for continuity ,voltage and grounds ,also remote wire voltage

someone gave me an amp to replace to see if the amp was bad but the e1200 amp gets cherry hot and goes out into protection mode. Not sure if the spare amp is good or not.

what 's your impedance load

Get one of these and report back......

Borrow one from a buddy if they have one. We can guide u through testing the wiring.

I have been back to the car audio shop about 4 times so far and they are stun. They check the reading from the subwoofer and its seems fine. They meter everything and they cannot find nothing wrong. I am about ready to take it to a different shop and see if the can troubleshoot it. I did notice the ground is going to a seat bolt on floor. I am not sure if this is a problem or not. JL Audio Tech support just told me to check my ground.
