Subwoofer for custom center console..need some opinions!

Well, I've decided I need to upgrade from the 2 8's under my rear seat to something a bit louder. I've debated on running 2 18" MT's with tons of power again, but right now I think I'm going to keep it relatively simple and do the big setup later.

Basically..the box will be around 5.5 cu. ft before any displacements. I can either run 2 12'2 or 2 15's sealed, or run just one ported 15. The sub(s) will be run off of a Crossfire VR1000D..
