Subwoofer cubic ft

So the box I have in my truck now allows my speaker 1.56cf and the vent is tuned to 40hz. My speaker calls for ported box to be 1.79cf and 36-37hz. I can get a box from a buddy for cheap that is 1.86cf and tuned to 36hz. With the speaker, the inside volume should be right around 1.80cf. Will the speaker work better with the bigger box or should I just stay with what I have.
