Thanks alot!! That input helps alot, I want to try out 20 hz, but I fear the speaker unloading.... It would be a 20hz ssf at 12/db rolloff....

I found that 20hz was just about perfect for my setup with the box tuned to 38 hz. It all depends on the sub. Some subs don't need one. They actually behave themselves really well below tuning and won't overextend themselves.

What are the specs on your box?

1.88 after displacement, tuned to 30 hz, 33 x 13 x 11 depth aero port.
