subsonic filter?

I was told that my setup would not work ported bc i have a jbl 1200.1 and it doesn't have a subsonic filter...Is there any way this can setup can work ported?or should i just forget it and look for a new setup?

i dont know what ur box is tuned to but one of these should work

u plug it into the amp, then stick the rcas into the back of these.

I am soon going to be running into the same problem. I'm building a box for 2 12 inch L7's soon. It will be tuned at 35hz so I am going to get the high pass 30hz FMOD. Should work out great *Also, the JBL 1200.1 is what I will be using. I'll probably order it today or tomorrow*

It depends on what your box is tuned at.

I think he means is 30Hz tuning low enough not to use a SSF. What type of music do you listen to? If you listen to primarily rock then you should be fine, if you listen to rap maybe one at 25.

From all the people and manufacturers I have talked to abotu this they all recommend setting it about 5Hz below tuning freq, I have my box tuned to 24Hz and I either turn the SSF off or I set it @ 20Hz, the lowest setting.
