subsonic filter question

I'm about to switch my subs from sealed box to a ported box tuned to 38hz. My problem is that my amp doesn't have a subsonic filter. I'm still a noob when it comes to car audio stuff, but I've been reading that this could be a problem. Anyone have suggestions or insight?

Don't play songs with information below 32hz?
I forget who it is, but someone makes custom SSF's. or I *think* FMod makes a 30hz inline RCA HPF?

Edit: bingo

Thanks, yeah I've actually found the fmod when I was searching around for a solution. I think they only make them in 20hz and 30hz though. Will that still work for me even though my box would be tuned to 38hz?

Yes that will be fine, as long as you are cutting the inaudible frequencies that are harmful to the sub.

The high pass and box tuning dont have to be the same.
