Subs won't come out of box

I unscrewed my subs from the box today to re-wire them. I got these subs installed today. I tried to get the subs out of the box but they wouldn't come off. Are they glued on the box or something?

no. get a flathead and try to easily pry it out

If you can't get it with a screwdriver play them at a low volume and they should pop right out.

sadly i've seen subs glued into a box, pretty much ruined the box to get them out

some installers really ****

I've gone to this installer before and they never glued the subs in the box.
