Subs up, ports up?

So I had my box made subs facing back ports facing back, but I really wanted to have my subs up, so I just unscrewed the terminals, covered the holes and reinforced them with lots of silicon and mdf, and flipped the box on its back. Now the question is, will the box sound bad with the subs up/ports up?

Thanks, but thats not going to happen unless I build an entirely new box. Im just wondering if subs up ports up will sound decent in an escalade. I should be moving a little bit of air with 2 15's.
