Subs Up/Port Back, Type R 12's/ Design Request

I need a box designed for my two Type R 12's....

I am gonna try to build a box for my R's this weekend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i just need a design...

It will go into a Jeep Grand Cherokee so i want Subs Up/Port Back

My Max Dimensions i want are around; give or take on width and depth

Height:16 inches

Width:36 inches

Depth:21 inches

Give or take on width and depth

I was wanting at least 4-4.5 cubes, tuned to 35hz....

I don't want 45'd corners or flush mounts, just a simple box....

A design picture and cutsheet would be appreciated....

No bracing is necessary... Not in that enclosure.

It will flex even with small amounts of power. If he ever upgraded the box would be insufficient. Better to do it right the first time then do it over again.

As for cuts, if you have a table saw or a steady hand you can use circle saw. If not, then have the lumber yard you buy the wood at cut the sheets you need. If you plan right you can get this out of one sheet, more then likely two though.

A small box can still flex if the joints are not perfect. Plus there's no bracing, 45's, or double baffle.

No problem, post up pics and vids of the finished product. You'll be amazed at the difference over sealed.

The side walls are small enough to skip some bracing, but I'd definitely do the front and back as well as a 2x2 or 2x4 going vertically between the subs.
