Subs under $180?

Looking for a pair of either some 10's or 12's. Are there any good ones between $150 and $180?

I found some 10" Alpine Type R's for $250 shipped online and was wondering if there are any other lesser known brands that are fairly equivalent for just a tad cheaper.

I know it's a stretch, but if anyone knows it would be the people here.

Don't have the amp yet, but was considering the Audiopipe AP-10001D

the new autotek M12d4 hits harder in my opinion then the type r 12's i had, check them out.. and i got a pair of Quantum Audio SPL series 12's there MONSTERS and require alot of amp, there 1500wrms dvc2 subs.. I can personally tell you there insane though. Ill sell them for $150each+shipping

Wow, that kind of comparison is really hard to ignore...especially with them M12D4 being less than half the price. I'm going to see if there are any local dealers to check Autotek out. Thanks man.

I find this very hard to believe. The Type R has twice the xmax and far more motor strength. Those look like relabeled Hifonics Hifi 12s that sell for $20 on amazon.

Obsidian Audio 12". Not sure if its louder than a Type R...but is within your budget. And they are sexy as hell.
