Subs to go with new horns?

I just installed new horns in my car and now I want to upgrade my subs? I have 2 12" JL w1v2 subs running on an Alpine 301(350 wrms at 14volts) now. They are in a ported box @32.

I don't really have any way to compare subs by listening to them. I was thinking of either going with either a 1 15" or 2 12" with about 1000 to 1200rms to them.

I am looking more for SQ but they should be loud enough to keep up with the horns and 6.5 xxx's I have.

Here are some of the choices I have come up with:

RE SE's = 2 - 12"

Ascendant Audio's new Assault Series = 2 - 12"/ Talked to Chad and he said they should be available in a couple of weeks.

RE xxx15 = 1

New Sub Amp = ?

What I need to know is how much of a difference is it going to make and is it worth the investment?
