what are some subs that have most excursion on the market 18" or 15"

Are you doing them sealed? if not then max excursion is irrelevant. W7 has tons of xmax but overall volume there is much louder out there unless you are talking about sealed boxes. My RE SE's have a good amount of movement but through their music range (not free air) in the ported box over powered they never move even half of their capability

What does "useable excursion" mean? In DD parlance, that must mean something totally different than Xmax, because the 3500's and 9500's are not even close to that.

check out thier web site, they have it listed there. i wont know untill i get my 3510 installed but my 2510 gets over 2" of excursion.

I dont care what the company says about there rated Xmax.....

My HW and SS XXX have about the same amount of Xmax as compared to my RE XXX (05)

I even have a vid of my SS XXX at full xmax.
