One of my roomates is buying a system. Much to my dismay he wants 6.5 inch subs in his rear quarter panels in his dodge dakota. We will have to run them free iar but will use a lot of dynamat. What type of 6.5 inch subs are descent. I know rockford and JL make them but what about the cheap ones on parts express?

For what he is wanting I think he would be better off with a real nice set of components up front or some midbass in the door either one with a nice amp.

Sounds like he is trying to get some bass with out having a box or anything take up any space which will be tough. If it were me I would put 1 nice 10 in a small sealed box or maybe evan an 8" like the ed 8a

I have never bought from parts express, the only thing on there I found that I might like is some of the raw home audio components
