subs question

For that price I'd recommend some Kicker comp vr 12's I have had em and for there price they are stupid loud. Not much for sq though. Though I cant really say because they were in a crappy prefab but they still got nasty loud for the price. Check em out at amazon you can get em for like 70 a piece.

lil cheaper alternative and a decent sub for sure, I'd take a Type R over it but CVRs are ok.

 
I haven't bought a pair since like the 90s I think, I know they've gone through like a few generations since then maybe they aren't as nice as they used to be like many other audio companies they probally have been using cheaper and cheaper parts. I remember them having pretty good SQ though and good sensitivity.

Actually the sq on the cvrs is pretty good. As long as you have the right box though.
