Subs popping?

When I turn the key on the ignition my sub pops pretty loudly a couple times and then crackles right before a song and then it plays just fine. I do have my rcs running next to my power wire and its all cheap stuff. I have a pretty decent ground in my trunk its on a large bolt on the chassis. Does this or could it damage the sub at all? I would like to elminate that but I already deal with my normal speakers popping so I could deal with my sub popping if there was no risk in hurting my sub. I have tried to do some research and the only thing I was able to find was grounding the amp better, grounding the hu, and the rca's being crappy and next to (high current wires.)

Get better wires or possibly a new HU

Well, some amplifiers don't have a soft turn on circuit, and cause something like a surge when turned on, causing the speakers to pop

I don't really think this is a problem, and I don't know of anyway to fix it, you can try searching this forum, this subject has come up numerous times, I'm sure

Well in the manual of my 225.2 it says that turn on pop could be produced to (voltage spike from output of the preceding component is entering amplifier through input signal) to fix this it says (disconnect input signal to amp and turn amp on and off. If noise is eliminated, connect rem lead of amp to sourch unit with a delay turn-on module)
