Subs IN Parallel Wiring Q

Willbe getting 2 TC1000's and I need a 1 ohm load

Would it be ok to wire them in || at the box instead of at the amp?

I have KnuKonceptz thickest speaker wire (Don't remember what gauge). I'm about out of space in the truck under the door sills so it may be a cleaner install to wire them at the box. (Less wire to hide under the sills as all the amps power wire will be run there as well (I know it's best to not have them next to each other, but there's not really another option).

The problem is the wire does not like to fit in the push terminals as it is, however theres actualy 2 sets on each side (box is a prototype and came this way). So I can connect the extra set internally in ||.

Since I'm only talking about pushing about 600 watts RMS will this be ok?..........

or should I go ahead and try to run both wires all the way to the amp even if it means having wires laying on top of the carpet rather than hidden?

You aren't running that much power. The big Knu wire should be more than enough to not get any noticable (probably barely measurable) loss. My question is where are the subs or amp that the speaker wire has to run under the door sill? BTW, don't worry about proximity of speaker and power wire. It doesn't matter.

Thanks, amps will be located under the drivers seat and subs will be located under the rear seats... Theres no room on the backwall of the King Cab, as there is on the Crew cab to mount an amprack. I'm planning to weld up a rack so I can stack both amps under the drivers seat retaining the storage space under the passenger seat.

Why not just get some connectors on the end of the wire? That way you don't have to worry about the wire fitting directly into the terminals, and virtually all subwoofers have 5 way binding posts.

Well the extra push terminals are already on the box. It was a prototype they made and were going to install LED's in it but they never cut the plexy window so theres basicaly just an extra set of push terminals in each chamber which are not used for anything. I could put leads on the ends of the wires I guess, but they are just going into push terminals so why spend the cash on those if I can just solder a bridge to the extra terminal set inside the box?

I think the TC1000's have some kind of push terminals as well, however it does not matter because the subs will be run in parallel from outside the box since each chamber is sealed off from each other.

Ok gues I got my TC, and expanded the cutout in my box so they fit.

Currently the box already has some wires from the terminals that are NOT as thick as the Knu wires but they are decently thick for 300 watts each.

In order to wire in parallel would it be ok to simply run wires to one voicecoil, them from that voice coil to the other? Or do both wiresneed to be attached to the terminals on the box?

Either way they will be in parallel...
