subs dont hit hard anymore

I was listening to them a little today and cut them off and drove around and cut the switch back on, they hit once hard and kinds acted like they are freezing up. They still hit but not even like tens. They still have movement in them, so I'm thinking my amps, any suggestions were to start.

Id say check all your wiring, read subs with DMM to check ohms then go from there. If thats fine Id look into the amps ..

I had a similar problem sorta. Mine would play at low volume but "cut out" on higher volumes. My amp was getting any voltage though. I went out the hood to the in line fuse holder, which had melted...

The phase was switched to 180 on one of my amps, all good now.
