Ok so I have an '05 chevy crewcab. I've cut & redrilled the brackets to move the rear seat forward 2". I now have 2.6 cubes net after sub/port disspacement. The problem I have now is that my 2 DD 2510 are to deep to fit. Is there another pair of 10"s that can take a sundown 3000D with less that 6.5" of mounting depth?!?!?! I'll get pix up of the box I have done so far later after work.

Fi BL10...they are only 6.25'' deep and have no pole vent so you don't have to worry about it being too close to the back of the box.

I think my lv4xl10 is only 6.5'' deep too, maybe 6-5/8'' at the most. 1500w isn't enough for it imo though, I wish I had a saz3000d for just one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

try building a ring to mount the speaker to so the woofer sits out another 3/4 inch or cut the back of the box where the magnet is hitting to put a piece of 3/4 there if it will work or both if you got the room

No room. The back of the box is up against the wall, and the front is to close to the back of the rear seat. I wish I still had my 4 1508. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

Did you put that vertical piece in there to prevent the top from sagging because you haven't cut the front baffle yet? If so, that's a good idea....I wish I would have done that on one of my builds. I put every other piece together and didn't do the baffle until the next day...by the time I got around to putting the baffle on, the top had sagged enough to pretty much ruin the box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

LOL ya, that's exactly why I did it. In that pic I hadn't yet put the sides on it. So it was there just to keep it squared up.

Brahmas are nice. I have a 10" Mk1. Just a single 10 was enough for me.
