WELL, if ur blowing a fuse, its probably a loose ground thats sparking and causing the fuse to blow

thats why this is confusing me....It was perfectly fine that night, but after that night, I noticed one sub would start to cut out, and would clip at lower frequencies. then, I tried my other sub, and both of them are clipping like crazy.......but neither of them are damaged. I had the gains up pretty high (75%) that night, due to the fact my cd player is some pos walmart one. so idk.........

AH man, I hope you didn't hurt the subs:crap:

You don't have another amp to try temperarily to see do you? A hard hitting sound with the woofers playing, sounds bad. Try playing each one free air, see if it does and if it does where it's coming from. Also, check your RCA connections they might have gotten damaged(?)

Other then that, I don't know that does NOT sound good:eyebrow:

I have the same problem. My gains are decently up and I have my bass level on the cd player up pretty high as well. I have a 15" TC9 and a older rockford 225.2 bridged to 4 ohms. I have the gains up high because I know my sub can handle 1200+ rms. Somedays its really bad like when I turn it up to 18-20 it plays then cuts out or like when i watch the sub it shoots up excursion wise and then goes back to normal. Most days I can put it up to 23ish and bass at 5 out of 6 before it starts. I have checked all my connections and made them pretty strong except for the speaker wire inside the box, but I remember making those tight as I could so I really dont' know. I can take a vidoe if that would help. Could it be from a bad box? I have a pos sealed box and I was wondering if that was it or not. Anyways just thought I would post something and hope for some advice.
