Subs cut out in the middle of playing (PLEASE HELP!)

I just got a new DS 18 6000w amp and im running 2 15 kicker cvrs off of it and when i turn the power up, even if its not at the power i usually bump at, the subs cut off. The amp doesn't go into protection mode or turn off at all. What could be the issue? Thanks!

First thing I would do is use a DMM to verify voltage at amp when this happens. Could be a soft protect issue from low voltage...

Have you checked the fuse? Your system seems to need a lot of power and if it doesn't get as much as it wants, your fuse will fry and cut off the power to the subs
