Subs arent loud as expected

I have a soundstream ta1.3000k running at 1 ohm

1 ohm it says 2500 rms prob around 2000 honestly.

Anyways im running 2 12 inch Memphis m5s in a ported 3/4 inch prefab box.

These subs are not loud at all . I can fart and have more bass then them .

Can anyone tell me how the settings on my amp should be. No the gain I have that set to where it should be

Unhook 1 of the subs, maybe theyre wired out of phase.

It seems like the subs barely move they do but they don't move as much as I thought they should. Can u tell me where I should have these setting on the amp set at.

Input level-6v-.2v

phase shift 180degree or 0 degree

Subsonic filter 15hz-50hz

bass boost 0db-12db

low pass 40hz-220hz

so you can properly set amp gains but you don't know anything else? someone not telling the truth.

Box can play a big part as stated. And also try hooking up each sub 1 at a time. Seems like something could be wired up wrong maybe ?

Input level-I thought you already had the gain set correctly

Phase-switch between 0 and 180 to see if that makes a difference, most likely it won't

Subsonic-what's your box tuned at? Generally about 10hz below that

No bass boost

Low pass- try around 80

Well I set the gain to 47.7 and it clips after 50 . But when I was setting the amp with my dmm the dmm kept jumping 10 and back

Sounds out of phase to me. Box is obviously not the best but its prob out of phase. A started above hook one sub up at a time and see if that's the problem

figured it out. Doesn't sound that bad for a prefab either , broke my window wiper off lol. I read since I have a alpine radios the subwoofer level has to be + 15 .

when I was tuning the amp I read online that alpine radios have to have the subwoofer level all the way up . For some reason idk but its good for now

It really isn't. If your amp is set correctly, then there's a very good chance you're clipping the sub

No that's true.. On alpine radios you don't get **** for output voltage from the sub without your sub out at +15.. It's not a knob where 0 is flat and your really at +15.. +15 gives you your normal preout voltage and anything lower is attentuation. IIRC on my old setup 15 was full out for my amp and taking it down to +10 had my subs and mids blending pretty nicely a little bass heavy for true SQ and by +5 you could barely tell my subwoofers were on, even for SQ it'd be a hair low. 7 in my case was normal SQ reference listening level for the amp and sub, that was 2 15's on 2k for reference lol. By 15 the mirror was falling off and headliner was flexin.
