What would be the best way to wire my subs for the best sound and good bass? Also what should my amp be set at? Frequency.. Etc.

My setup:

Two 12" mtx 4500 subs in closed box.

12" 4-ohm subwoofer

carbon-filled poly cone with foam surround

frequency response: 29-150 Hz

power range: 50-225 watts RMS (450 watts peak power)

sensitivity: 89.8 dB

top-mount depth: 5-5/16"

he has two 4 ohm SVC subs.

you wire them in parallel for a 2 ohm load.

start with LPF around 80Hz

set gain based on the pre-out voltage of your head unit. if 2V then set gain at 2V. if you don't have an aftermarket head unit, the process becomes more complicated but still doable.
