Sub Suggestions

Well I have started thinking about upgrading sometime in the future and would just like some input on what you guys think would be louder than what I have now. I have 2 rd sonance 12's in 3.5cuft box at 35htz, being powered by an audiopipe 1500d. Someone suggested going with 4 10's and about 2k, well he said that would prob do a hairtrick in my car, which is an 3g eclipse hatch. My options are minimal because I want to stay in the trunk, so really I guess they could only be 4 10's, 2 12's or 1 15. I really don't wanna build another sub box if I can still get louder with it. I realize the 4 10's would prob be loudest because of cone area, but if I could do like a couple beefier 12's with another 1500d amp would that be noticeably louder? 1 15 has less cone area then 2 12s, I would do 1 18, it will require about the same volume as 4 10s and would be cheaper than buying 4 subs compared to 1 probably

well I did have an hdc318 but just could not close to 6 cuft outta my hatch. Would buying say a couple beefier 12's in the same 3.5 cuft box with another 1500d amp make any noticeable difference.

Btw I really wanna be able to move some air, so would I be better sticking with 2 12's or 1 15 with some power? I know to do tricks and things apparently I would need a lot of port and a low tuning, which is fine cuz I love low bass, but what would I need to achieve this? Thanks
