sub suggestions

today i installed a vibe 1200 and two mtx 10"s for my little brother. man i tell ya they FREAKIN SLAMMED. sike!!! it sounded like sh!t. the speakers were in a sealed box(measurements unknown). you know what, im not gonna make excuses for these woofers. they just were not good. they are the 6000 series my brother is only nineteen and he's a bachelor (lives alone and pay bills) so he is on a serious budget. he could care less about sq. he wants total spl. he wants to stick with 10's so he can have a little trunk space. thanx

there's alot of things that i dont know how to do, but i think that i can set the gains on an amp.

i may have someone on the forum to build him a box. the amp is the vibe1200 and its seeing about 2 ohms. i may do the box thing first and then change the subs. 1.3 to 1.5 cubes would probably be the max on the box.
