sub recommendations

Hi guys,

I decided to upgrade my 15" type R, I'm looking for something with better SQ, I have $600 to spend on one 15" or two 12" subs.I was thinking about getting two

JL12W6V2, is there any thing better I can get for the price, the subs will be powerd by alpine PDX-1.1000.

any recommendations will be appreciated.

I prefer to buy from the local market ( I Iive far away from the US ) and shipping is a big issue due to the high shipping charges.

$600 can get you a really good subwoofer. Look in to the TC3000 or the TC5200. Both subs are monsters that will easily equal your TypeR in SPL and absolutely destroy it in terms of SQ.
