sub recommendations for my setup?

how is the bass on that infinity basslink? do you think it would be more or louder than the bazooka that i had in mind? (the one i posted the link for)

I had an 8' tube powered tube (8250d), it was OK at best. Dont expect any great lows out of it!! I had it in my Maxima with a 7 speaker Bose system, the 8' Bose sub on the deck really helped it out! It gave it a fuller sound..

I heard the Basslink sounded ok as well..

why dont you do a 5 ch amp and a single 8, you would yield better results!

When that starts to happen, I tend to fuck around with them. It's wrong but I cant help it, or help someone who doesnt listen to good advice.

No, it's not ignorant. Powered subwoofers are useless to pretty much any self respecting car audio enthusiast. And just for your information, powered subwoofers still require wiring. And you don't have to do the big 3 for low powered setups.
Now, do you want to continue fighting or would you rather have some assistance?

personally i would recommend the big 3 for anybody that has an amp in their vehicle PERIOD. and yes i know they require wiring but less than an external amp obviously. and thank you for your help it is greatly appreciated. and the basslink 2 has twice the power of those subs you posted.

And your recommendations don't mean much to me. Afterall, you are seriously considering the purchase of a powered subwoofer for your vehicle...

i didnt say everybody needs it but shit i when i put my friggin windows down i can see my lights dim these cars power supply sucks all my friends that have the same car it does the same thing and charging system is fine and brand new battery.

It's a low powered subwoofer in a plastic enclosure, man. How good do you really think it's going to sound?

You can buy whatever the hell you want, but if you're serious about having decent bass, you've got to have a decent amp, sub and enclosure. That's just how it is...

for 250 you can get a decent sub box and amp that is 300-500 watts that will sound so much better
