Sub/port facing?

Currently in a hatchback, using the same ol' box from my last trunk car (VERY custom fitted, had to use a prybar / sledgehammer (ON THE CAR, screw breakin my box!!) to get it out) same subs, BIGGER amp, and getting less boom =(

Current box is 5.7ish cubes without sub / port displacement, subs are Premier TS-W2000spl 's (x2) and port is 7.5" high X 5" across X 14" deep.

Was wondering if a sub up / port up or sub back / port up set up would get me louder in the hatchback... esp. seeing as the subs / vent are about 3-4" from the back of the car in this box

i would say subs up port back

That seems to be the most effective in Hatchbacks and SUV's.
